Book Review : Beautiful Wife {Bible Study}

I love to get involved in a Women’s Bible Study!  There is something about the fellowship, and sharing that happens in that group that always nudges me to a deeper relationship with God.

I recently was offered a copy of a new Bible Study : The Beautiful Wife to look and at review.  Along with that book, I also was able to get my hands on a copy of the Prayer Journal and Mentor Guide as well.

First, let me assure you this is not outward beauty that this Bible Study is talking about.  Instead, Sandy Ralya is leading the women through this study to see what God’s definition of a beautiful wife is, from the inside out.

This study is designed for small group study, with a mentor leading the discussions.  While it is intended for small group study, it is a book you could work through by yourself or with another friend to dialogue with.  Along with the book itself, there is a Prayer Journal that Sandy recommends you get to work through in conjunction with reading through the book.

I loved the prayer journal, of course I do enjoy journaling, and I love a book that goes along and helps you journal thoughts while working through a study.

The Mentor Book is a wonderful tool to help a woman who feels led to become a mentor, it also helps a seasoned mentor hone their mentoring skills.  It will help explain the role of the mentor and help her feel comfortable in that role while leading the ladies in her group.

This study would lend itself to a 12 week study, or even a monthly study over a 12 month period.    Sandy covers topics such as inviting romance into the home, managing money more effectively, speaking and believing truth, as well as many other pertinent topics.  This is a comprehensive study for any woman who wants to be a more grounded wife, anyone who wants to follow where God is leading her in her home.

I love this set, I think these would bless any woman to do alone or in a group.  I think Sandy has written a program with will undoubtedly draw many of us into a deeper relationship with God and our husbands.
